Galup comes from Pinerolo in Piedmont and invented one thing that turned out to be decisive: the hazelnut glaze on top of panettone, made with Langhe hazelnuts. A whole pastry house grew from it, and you will find it here in both full and mignon sizes.
Leavened cakes
- Panettone Paradiso 750 g — no raisins or candied fruit, with orange paste, served with a 150 g hazelnut or pistachio piping bag.
- Gluten-free Gran Galup 400 g — traditional with candied fruit or with extra dark chocolate chips, always under the hazelnut and almond glaze.
- Panettone with chocolate chips — in the mid size.
- Mignon panettone 400 g and 460 g — assorted traditional, Paradiso, apple and chocolate chip, also in the spreadable-cream version; plus the 100 g Christmas baubles.
Cakes, carrè and biscuits
- 40% Hazelnut cake, 300 g — the percentage is the point: it is almost all hazelnut.
- Carrè 400 g — with raisins or with forest fruits and yoghurt, both under hazelnut glaze.
- 100 g hazelnut brittle, also with chopped pistachio.
- 200 g small pastry — butter and lemon canestrelli and assorted biscuits: panettone and artisan products.
The mignon sizes solve the classic festive-cake problem: you can taste four flavours without opening four whole panettoni. For the Sicilian school of the same cake, see Fiasconaro. Shipped from Italy within the next working day.
