La Cioccafè inizia con Laura Ferruolo, alla quale il nonno tramanda con dovizia di particolari l’antica arte confettiera napoletana. Nel 1970, fonda con il marito Felice Basile il “Confettificio Ferruolo”. Per tanti anni il Confettificio Ferruolo produce e commercializza confetti di ogni genere, permettendo al “Maestro Sor Felice”, come tutt’oggi ancora è conosciuto Felice Basile, di consolidare e migliorare la già ricca esperienza nella produzione di confetti ed altri prodotti dolciari.
