Strega Alberti is the Benevento house that has produced Liquore Strega since 1860 and has built a whole pastry line around it: torrone, brittles, pralines and filled cakes, all carrying the same herbal note and the saffron that gives the liqueur its colour.
Torrone and brittles
- Soft torrone in 150 and 250 g, also coated in dark chocolate or made with chocolate.
- 300 g croccantini — white chocolate, coffee, Strega chocolate and hazelnut.
- 200 and 250 g cubes — Croccantino di Benevento, almond Mandorlino, Araldi with Strega liqueur and Magie Assortite filled pralines.
- Torroncini — 105 g Mignon in 12 pieces and a 200 g caramel version.
- 150 g filled pan di torrone — with sponge and rum or with Strega liqueur; plus Prodigi, coated almond and hazelnut brittle.
Cakes and liqueurs
- 1 kg filled panettone — with Strega liqueur cream or chocolate and liqueur cream; 1 kg filled pandoro and a sweet loaf soaked in the liqueur.
- Liquore Strega, including an artist edition, and Limoncello di Sorrento in a gift pack: liqueurs, spirits and sparkling wines.
The yellow of Liquore Strega comes from saffron, not from colouring: it is the same seventy-herb recipe it has been for over a century. For Sicilian torrone instead, see Fiasconaro. Shipped from Italy within the next working day.
