The grapes for Ramale come from our best vineyards on the Ghemme hills, outside the D.O.C.G. area, but receive the same care and attention. The wine ages for at least 2 years and although it is intended to be drunk younger than Ghemme and Gattinara, some vintages keep for many years. It is a rich and full-bodied wine, with a lot of character; It has a deep ruby red color, on the nose it presents ripe red fruits, violets and spicy notes.
