ILLY X-CAPS Intenso 30 Capsules

Discover ILLY X-CAPS Intenso, the coffee for those who love an espresso with a bold character, an enveloping aroma and a full flavour.

The illy 100% Arabica blend reveals notes of cocoa and nuts, accompanied by a full-bodied aftertaste. The capsules are developed for the X-CAPS system, which combines a dedicated capsule format with the hyperinfusion technology integrated into compatible machines.

100% Arabica blend

The blend consists exclusively of Arabica coffees, selected to create the distinctive illy blend.

The Intenso variety highlights a rich, structured profile, suited to those seeking a pronounced flavour in the cup without sacrificing aromatic complexity.

Notes of cocoa and nuts

The aromatic profile stands out for its enveloping notes of cocoa and nuts, which accompany each sip and the aftertaste.

These nuances make Intenso a coffee to savour slowly, paying attention to its aromas before tasting and to the sensations that remain on the palate.

Rich, full-bodied flavour

ILLY X-CAPS Intenso offers an espresso with a full flavour and pronounced body.

It is a suitable choice for those who prefer a coffee break with a bold character, enjoyed on its own or with a little milk, according to personal preference.

Thick, lasting crema

The combination of the capsule and its dedicated machine produces an espresso with a thick, lasting crema.

To appreciate it at its best, we recommend serving it freshly prepared in a preheated cup, following the machine’s brewing instructions.

X-CAPS system and hyperinfusion technology

The capsules are designed to work with the hyperinfusion technology of illy X-CAPS machines, developed to bring out the coffee’s aromas and body.

The system pairs the capsule with the machine during extraction, supporting every stage of espresso preparation.

Aluminium capsules

X-CAPS capsules feature a spherical aluminium design, developed to protect the coffee’s freshness and aromas.

They can be inserted either way up into the dedicated machines, making everyday preparation simple.

illy X-CAPS compatibility

These capsules are intended exclusively for machines that use the illy X-CAPS system.

They are not interchangeable with illy Iperespresso capsules, Nespresso capsules or other systems. Before purchasing, check the format required by your machine.

30-capsule pack

The pack contains 30 original illy X-CAPS Intenso capsules, a convenient size for keeping a supply on hand.

Store the product in a cool, dry place and follow the instructions on the packaging.
